The Science Behind Rave Doctor Protection & Recovery

The Science Behind Rave Doctor Protection & Recovery

Rave Doctor Immune Protection & Recovery Supplement

Partying is fun. But excessive indulging can put additional strain on your body, causing your cells to quickly burn through nutrients. Partying weakens your immune system and causes a buildup of toxins that can wreak havoc on your body, including your liver and nervous system. Every ingredient in Rave Doctor was carefully chosen and dosed to provide your cells exactly when they need to detox your blood, boost your immune system, and promote healthy recovery.

Serotonin Complex

Our unique serotonin complex is essential for post-festival recovery. 5-HTP is the direct precursor to serotonin – it enhances your mood, promotes normal sleep, and reduces depression and anxiety. Given alone, it cannot exert its full effect. We pair it with Vitamin B6, a necessary cofactor in serotonin synthesis. In addition, we use Green Tea Extract (EGGG) acts as a dopamine decarboxylase inhibitor (DDC). This prevents 5-HTP from being converted into serotonin before it can reach your brain, where it is needed.

Antioxidant Blend

Our powerful antioxidant blend provides complete neuron protection from free radicals. Alpha Lipoic Acid, L-Carnitine, and CoQ-10 easily cross the blood-brain barrier to protect your brain cells from damage. Vitamin C and Vitamin E are powerful antioxidants that also support mood, muscle, and cardiovascular health. Grape Seed Extract is a unique source of flavonoids, a molecule that is extremely neuroprotective.

Powerful Neuro Protection

Our formula contains an advanced blend of antioxidants that cross your blood-brain barrier in order to maximize defense against neuron-toxic free radicals. Unique 5-HTP Recovery Complex – Our formula contains a strategic blend of 5-HTP, Vitamin B6, and EGCG in order to maximize serotonin synthesis in the central nervous system. These ingredients must be used together for a lightning fast recovery.

5-HTP

According to Healthline, “5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is an amino acid that your body naturally produces. Your body uses it to produce serotonin, a chemical messenger that sends signals between your nerve cells” (source). 5-HTP enhances mood, promotes normal sleep, and reduces depression and anxiety.

Alpha-Lipoic Acid

This is a “universal antioxidant” (both fat and water-soluble) that is readily transported to the brain. It can help regenerate other antioxidants (Vitamins C, E, and glutathione) Healthline says that “The antioxidant properties of alpha-lipoic acid have been linked to several benefits, including lower blood sugar levels, reduced inflammation, slowed skin aging, and improved nerve function” (source).

Coenzyme Q-10

This vital ingredient improves energy production in cells to promote healthy brain activity and is a potent antioxidant, which reduces neurotoxicity. According to the Mayo Clinic, “Because CoQ10 is involved in energy production, it's believed that this supplement might improve your physical performance” (source).

L-Carnitine

This protects neurons from oxidative damage, enhances brain cell activity, and promotes positive mood and heightened brain function. In addition, it aids in recovery by moderating tissue damage. An article by Hammer Nutrition goes on to say that “Recent data have indicated that l-carnitine plays a decisive role in the prevention of cellular damage and favorably affects recovery from exercise stress” (source).

Green Tea Extract

Green tea extract is a powerful antioxidant – it reduces free radical damage, helps counteract vasopressin (ADH) release (which causes urinary retention), and acts as L-Amino Acid Decarboxylase Inhibitor, meaning it prevents 5-HTP from being converted into serotonin before it reaches the brain. Healthline tells us that “Like green tea, green tea extract is a great source of antioxidants. These have been credited with a range of health benefits, from promoting heart, liver and brain health to improving your skin and even reducing the risk of cancer” (source).

Grape Seed Extract

Grape seed extract is very high in Vitamin E – this is important because Vitamin E deficiency has been shown to increase the severity of neurotoxicity. It is also high in flavonoids, or potent antioxidants that protect against lipid oxidation. WebMD states “There is evidence that grape seed extract is beneficial for a number of cardiovascular conditions. Grape seed extract may help with a type of poor circulation (chronic venous insufficiency) and high cholesterol. Grape seed extract also reduces swelling caused by injury and helps with eye disease related to diabetes” (source).

Magnesium Citrate

Natural muscle relaxant – Relieves jaw clenching, lip biting, etc., Neuroprotective against fatigue and cell damage (Excitotoxicity). Medical News Today reports that “Magnesium plays a role in over 300 enzymatic reactions within the body, including the metabolism of food, synthesis of fatty acids and proteins, and the transmission of nerve impulses” (source).

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)

Essential in the body’s ability to produce energy and maintain healthy organ function, Deficiency may lead to severe fatigue and organ dysfunction. According to the NIH, “This vitamin plays a critical role in energy metabolism and, therefore, in the growth, development, and function of cells” (source).

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6, or pyridoxine, is involved in 100’s of critical cellular processes and is responsible for production of red blood cells and neurotransmitter creation. “On its own, vitamin B6 has many other uses that are important to maintaining a healthy body and developing a healthy brain. Vitamin B6 is so important it may have triggered the growth of the first living creatures on Earth” (source).

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is critical in maintaining energy levels and deficiency in this vitamin is a common source of lethargy and anemia. It also helps with red blood cell production and vital brain functions. According to the National Institutes of Health, “Vitamin B12 is a nutrient that helps keep the body’s nerve and blood cells healthy and helps make DNA, the genetic material in all cells” (source).

Vitamin E

According to the Mayo Clinic, “Vitamin E is a nutrient that's important to vision, reproduction, and the health of your blood, brain and skin” (source). It’s a powerful antioxidant – specifically for the protection of cell membranes. In addition, it’s a fat-soluble vitamin, which means it can readily enter the brain. Other benefits include supporting healthy immune function, and maintaining heart, muscle, and nerve health.

Vitamin D3

New research suggests that Vitamin D3 activates the genes for serotonin production. Harvard University says “Vitamin D is having its day in the sun. In recent years, research has associated low blood levels of the vitamin with higher risks of everything from heart disease, diabetes, and cancer to mood disorders and dementia” (source).  Vitamin D3 is critical for bone and muscle health, and is one of the most common vitamin deficiencies.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is known as the “grandfather” antioxidant and has been correlated with increased immune function for decades. It also helps to combat high blood pressure, lowers your risk of heart disease, lowers levels of uric acid (a waste produced by the body) in the blood, and increases your body’s ability to absorb iron. According to researcher Mark Moyad, MD, MPH, of the University of Michigan on WebMD, "The more we study vitamin C, the better our understanding of how diverse it is in protecting our health, from cardiovascular, cancerstrokeeye health and immunity to living longer” (source).
